New court filings show that former FBI Director James Comey’s indictment on charges of obstructing justice and making false statements to Congress was properly voted on by members of the grand jury.

So why this?

Lindsey Halligan, the acting U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, presented the case by herself to the grand jury on Sept. 25. She testified Wednesday that when jurors voted to indict Comey on two of the three counts submitted in the original indictment, the full grand jury hadn’t reviewed a final revised document showing the two counts the former FBI director was charged with. Instead, its viewing was limited to the jury foreperson and an additional grand juror.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Tyler Lemons, who is leading the prosecution of Comey, also said the full grand jury hadn’t reviewed the final indictment.

Yeah this is just taking the DOJ's response brief (one-sided) as THE truth, via MAGA outlets. It ignores the actual testimony/arguments at the hearing prior to the memo.
Damn Mike Davis has no shame.
I couldn't imagine living a live without honor like that.

The Court will let us know. If the GJ didn’t see the complete and correct indictment the prosecutor is screwed

You mean people who promote dishonesty or ignorantly repeat it? No, not really. Why would I?

Y'all have been had again by a grifter. The government ADMITTED that the indictment was never presented to the full grand jury:

It appears Mr. Lemons misunderstood.
Earlier this week there was a post dealing with a lemon. Was that about SFP too?

Mike Davis is completely full of shite and his followers are lapping it up, because they just trust his word. There is simply no dispute: the indictment that charges Comey was NOT presented to the full Grand Jury.
However, the D.C. case that the judge had the parties brief might allow him the option of finding that this was just a technical mistake that didn't materially prejudice Comey.

The government’s admission wasn’t very strong. It sounded like the attorney didn’t know for sure.

I know many of y'all don't care about legal issues, but this nails how Mike Davis is being dishonest:

Prosecutors slammed the door on the hopes of Comey’s defenders, writing, “The complete record eliminates any doubt: The foreperson confirmed the vote. The Court acknowledged the vote. The Court docketed the two-count true bill as the operative indictment. Only Count One lacked concurrence; Counts Two and Three were true-billed by at least twelve jurors.”
Very Last Paragraph. It's Over. Comey Gonna Talk.

The government may be able to save the indictment (which would be embarrassing but legally sound), but what Mike Davis is spinning is complete dishonesty.
This wasn't a media creation.
The story was based on DOJ arguments and testimony of Haligan in open court.

"You can indict a ham sandwich." - A couple of lawyers here will surely say this (if they haven't already).
