It feels like every non lane kiffin option is overly nitpicked on this site

Any G5 coaches are called the next sunbelt billy
Even some of the fanbase is holding Kenny Dillingham’s 7-3 record and offensive inconsistency against him despite his team being ravaged by injuries and starting one of the worst qb’s in the country multiple games in Jeff sims .
Drinkwitz, who overall has won a lot of ball games and built up Mizzou pretty well and just 42 years old, is probably one of the most hated candidates on this site even tho this is the one person where I get the reservations. His record vs ranked sec teams is abysmal hard to look past that
Up and comers like Sheppard and hartline are mostly met with “ LSU is not the program for a first time head coach “
I can go on but it just seems like kiffin is the only coach that gets a Complete pass for some of his shortcoming compared to any other candidate

Drinkwitz is the only one you mentioned that I agree with the criticism. Beats up on the bottom SEC teams, but cannot seem to win a game of importance outside the Cotton Bowl against an Ohio State team that did not have a quarterback.
Dilly getting criticism from people that lack context, and the unproven guys are always going to get the "hasn't been a HC" treatment from this board.

We can have opinions though.
I hated the BK hire so much, but had to pretend to go along with it around here, because so many others talked themselves into it.
I wanted Kiffin then. In fairness I also wanted Freeze or Riley.
