They'll laugh and take the $11M guaranteed + incentives from another school

I’ll take it.
I’m working with chatgpt on my resume as we speak, where should I send it? I may or may not have any experience with organized football, but my wife says I look really handsome in an LSU polo.

Contracts like these will never happen in college. There is a reason most of the good coaches are running to the NFL for a salary cut. Also, if you don't pay, your rival will make it happen 10/10 times if they want them.

1.35M/win and you might get some people interested. It has to hit the going flat rate/yr for really good seasons and be significantly higher if a title is won.
1.35 would get you 13.5M for 10 wins which probably means a playoff birth in the SEC. The most money out in a single year would be if you went undefeated in the SEC and SECCG and did not get a bye (I know, would not happen) and you pay out 21.6M for a NC season (16 games)

How about $500,000 per win up to 6 wins
$2 million for each additional win. 2 million for each playoff win. 2 million bonus for 1st rd bye. So so if a coach goes undefeated, max is 23 million.
6 wins=$3mill
7 win = 5 mill
8 = 7 mill
9= 9 mill
10=11 mill
11=13 mill
12= 15 mill
1st rd win/bye= $17mi
2nd rd win = $19 mil
Semi win $ 21 mil
National Champions = $23 million

Problem is pay today is based on what you have done, not what you will do. Look at Brian for that example.
I hope incentivizing coaches will become a thing. Ex - a top 25 win is worth $X

You would have to include a bonus structure.
5m downside guaranteed
1m per win
2m bonus for conf title
2m bonus for making playoffs
5m bonus for winning national championship
