You have to think he might consider it.

From an unbiased perspective, whit gets hurt a lot and if we got him to stay we would have to pay him over a mill or more.

Not sure that’s money well spent.

BUT, does a new S&C coach put Whit in a better position to stay healthy and actually earn more in the 2027 draft?

What’s his current projection? Surely no higher than 3rd?

He can come back, get NIL, play under father in law, and still going in 3rd next year.

He was 9th in the nation in tackles in 2024. He didn't get hurt until the final game (bowl game). I don't think he was fully healed from the injury and re-aggravated it this year.
