I spot a Hylian Crest. Encouraged by it being filmed in NZ. Definitely see similarities between Hyrule and NZ landscapes.

I wish this was already done filming and already released in theaters. So excited for this movie.

If they market this right and the film itself actually delivers, Nintendo has an opportunity to take all the money.

They'll figure out a way to make Link a doofus and Zelda the real hero.

You really believe that's something Nintendo would sign off on?

They made Mario a doofus and Peach a badass, so I'd say yes.

I just hope they don't screw around and make Link mute. Won't work for a movie.

I guess they are still using handheld boom mics these days because of SAG.

The way I played Link in the game… He was kind of a doofus.

If done correctly, this would absolutely be the right approach.

This is Miyamoto. We have officially begun filming the live-action movie adaptation of "The Legend of Zelda" in the magnificent great outdoors, together with Bo Bragason, who plays Zelda, and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who plays Link. The filming is progressing smoothly, so I would appreciate it if you could quietly watch over us. The theatrical release is scheduled for May 7, 2027. Please wait just a little longer.
