G5 needs their own CFP

With the ACC looking at a outside possibility of a Duke conference champion, before their loss today, there was talk of TWO G5 teams making tbe playoffs.
Ugh.

They need to add qualifiers. You need to be in the top 20 or something or your forfeit the spot.
I’d guess James Madison or north Texas

It's amazing how many little guys keep fumbling their big chance this year.
Looks like James Madison is next man up.

Would be pretty cool if it is James Maddison.
From FCS to the CFB playoffs in 2 years would be some achievement

It’s the life of a G5 fan.
Their coaches are focused on getting new jobs. Making the playoff is more of a hassle and makes the transition harder.

It’ll be Tulane if they win out. They will likely be the highest ranked team this week. They were 26 in AP last week and the committee mentioned that they were in conversation right behind USF

Better a G5 champion than the #4 SEC or Big team.

Tulane ranked in both polls and should be ranked in CFP...Tulane is in if they win out and controls their own destiny.

Assuming they beat UNT in the AAC Championship, probably
I’m pulling for the SBC champs, JMU

Who would be favored on a neutral field?

What is the actual tie breaker if Tulane, UNT, ECU, & Navy are all tied at 7-1?

I don’t care. You don’t deserve to be in the playoffs if you finished fourth in your conference.
Reduce the playoff field and keep both out.
