Did Trump read the July DOJ Memo on the Epstein Files?

Here's what the Trump DOJ declared:
"We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties."
Why is he instructing his DOJ NOW to investigate to see if charges against other people (Bill Clinton, Larry Sommers, etc.) can be brought? I thought they had already looked into that and concluded there was no factual basis for doing so.

Never shut up about it? I think the files are legally a nothing burger. I believe the Trump DOJ (who y'all are calling liars) when they concluded that there was nothing upon which to base additional charges on...AGAINST ANYONE...Democrats, Trump, etc.
The files must contain embarrassing (but not illegal) material regarding people Trump wants to protect. I think that embarrassment is less meaningful than giving Democrats a political club against Republicans.

Believe it or not, the Court room is not a good place for deception. In the HIGHLY unlikely event that there any further prosecutions based on the Epstein files, the DOJ memo and Trump's tirade will be featured prominently in any defense.
It's a great strategy to rile the base (lock her up! You'd be in jail), but it's stupid if your goal is to win any convictions.

You can't be this stupid. Who is against prosecutions? I'm just pointing out that the Trump DOJ declared in July that there wasn't any evidence to support prosecutions.
Are you saying the Trump DOJ was lying???
