I don't think so without Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant. Obviously, the QB play is better from last year, though. They probably need Haynes back healthy and a Herculean effort from both RBs.

If it means winning another National Championship, I’m okay with it.

In all seriousness, it will come down to how Ohio State calls offensive plays.

Sadly this is definitely one major downside of the 12 team playoff.

Most teams have their playoff spot locked up by time the big rivalry game rolls around if its the final week of the season.

A big upset in a rivalry game doesn't carry nearly the same weight it used to.

Show us your betting slip. Should be at least 5 figures and good odds for a straight up win!

Gonna bank book it!

And this is the state of CFB.

Woody would probably slug Ohio State fans today whom he wouldn't recognize and players he wouldn't know.

hell it's not even reserved for rivalry week, it's pretty much any week.

OSU/Texas in a matchup of powers to open the season? So what? The loser still has ample wiggle room.

Bama/UGA didn't end up meaning shite as it relates to making the playoffs, nor did FSU's major upset of bama to open the season.

It used to be EVERY SINGLE GAME mattered, since if you had 2 losses you were practically donezo. Now 2 losses is no sweat, and depending on how the chips fall you could conceivably still sneak in even with 3. It's ridiculous.
