I asked my Austin friend where he gets his fork and he said “Stuffed Cajun Meat Market.” He said he hasn’t had an issue getting it from them.
You can also order from places online and have them shipped to you next day or 2nd day air. Obviously more expensive, but you can guarantee you get them.

Is, BY FAR, the best place in Austin to get food from home.

Stuffed is what you want. They price their crawfish very competitively and are usually the cheapest and best quality product in the area. The owner is from Louisiana, so it's also good to give him some business.
You just need to order by Wednesday before the weekend you want to boil.
Also, where's my invitation, baw? I got burners and pots if you need to borrow anything.

Yes If you have any issues feel free to reach out to me. It's a family business that covers Texas to Florida.

Stuffed is great but HEB is a lot more convenient. LA bugs and they'll even break sacks into smaller quantities if you want. Need to order on Monday iirc.

I've found the quality at HEB to be wildly inconsistent. It may depend on the location too. Size is usually not good and they may or may not have a noticeable amount of dead ones. And I love HEB.

Interesting, I use the Drippin store and the size/quality has always been really good. And, a minor detail, but sacks are always 35#.
Not knocking Stuffed, they have tons of goodies in their store too.

Farmers just saw this post and preemptively raised prices in that region

Yeah I would be hitting up HEB if I was in Dripping too.

Just use the TD Private Jet, fly to Lafayette, and have them back in Austin before lunch.
