Trump’s Words vs. Trump’s Moves
Last night on Laura Ingraham, Some people took that as a softening. It’s not.
On September 19, 2025, Trump signed a presidential proclamation imposing a $100,000 fee for certain new H-1B petitions, and that document described H-1B dependance as a “national security threat”.
In the interview with Ingraham he said: “No, you don’t [have enough talent] … there are certain skills you don’t have, and people have to learn them.” He's talking about Americans!
Again- The proclamation text in his 100,000 H1B application fee specifically states that the abuse of the H-1B program “is also a national security threat.” that's policy.
He’s acknowledging what every serious strategist already knows, America has become dangerously dependent on foreign technical labor. He stated this! You don’t fix that by detonating the system overnight. You fix it by building the replacement.
That’s what Project Firewall is. It’s not about keeping visas flowing, it’s about creating insulation, so when we finally shut the tap, the American workforce is ready.
Look at the moves of the last ten months:
• The 100K H-1B fee proposal
• Employer raids and visa audits ramping up
• Federal arrests and revocations for fraud
• Tech company investigations already underway
• Education reform to fast-track citizen talent
Trump’s not going soft. He’s playing a long game.
He can’t trigger a mass exodus while national security and major systems still depend on these workers. He’s stabilizing before he strikes - exactly what a president should do.
What he says is diplomacy.
What he does is strategy.

Trump's only move is to knock down half the whitehouse and build a giant golden diaper changing room in its place.
All the actual decision making is coming from the Project 2025 folks running the country now.

And the Hyperbole of the Year Award goes to...
You prefer foreign dignitaries be hosted in an event tent that hits the taxpayers in the wallet for $1M every time it's pitched?

That tent is a better use of my money than the extraordinary cost of security arrangements for our president to spend every other day having his caddy toss balls up onto the green for him so that he can lie about his handicap to reporters on Air Force One afterwards.

The bottom line is that we don't have the domestic manpower to satisfy these jobs that the visa applicants are filling. Not in 2025, at any rate. Ideally we'll get there, but these folks went to school for Engineering & Computer Science.
Meanwhile, Jayden, Kayden & Brayden got BFA in Genderqueer Squirrelkin Cinema, has $150k in student loan debt, and delivers for DoorDash since they're unhirable by their own decisions.

The $100K H1B fees does not apply to change of status cases. Meaning an international student already in USA on a student visa (F1) can get a H1B without the $100K. All the Indian IT consultancies that are using most of the H1B visas will just switch to L visas now or just hire international students who are already on H1B.
If you think the $100K is going to make any difference, you are probably mistaken.
Here is a post I made two months ago about this - LINK
I think in the last two months it has been proven that I have been mostly right on that thread.

We actually do. Reality is Indian IT workers on H1B are willing to work longer for the same amount of money, hence it is causing a wage depression.

So if Americans aren't talented or competitive enough to fulfill these roles then the obvious move is to improve funding to higher education and technical programs. Where's the plan for that?

All the companies that donated the money for the ballroom are heavy in tech. They need that cheap H1B talent. It’s a win win for Trump and the tech industry but a big frick you to the American people.

Come on now it’s Vox and the tards. They get a lot wrong because it’s hard to post with one hand always stroking Trump and the other trying to defend him.

Yes we do. You should look at the unemployment rate for CS and Engineering grads. My son graduated with a CS degree in May 2024. He was hired for a desktop support job March 2025. Multiple others he graduated with still have not found jobs.
I’ve watched many developers, systems engineers, network engineers, security engineers in senior job titles laid off and replaced by H1B visa holders in lower job titles so they can pay them less. I’m waiting for it to happen to myself.
Those that have been laid off to be replaced by foreigners are also raising competition for recent grads.
