LSU brass better take care of Jay

UTranny already threw the house at Jay and whiffed.

Then he went and won another natty for LSU.

Jay isn’t going anywhere.

Good thing is he’s known and worked with Ausberry for 5 years now so he won’t have to deal with a new-new boss. They owe him some renovations and upgrades after 2 in 3, but something tells me the coffers will be semi empty for a little bit.

LSU better build his indoor and pitching lab in the next 18 months.

I'm surprised they haven't started building the indoor practice facility in the offseason.

There’s a whole lot of fail in this thread. Anyone thinking Jay Johnson isn’t pissed over ranking 13th in the SEC in revenue sharing hasn’t spoken with the man in the last few months. And it isn’t about some practice facility building or upgrades to Alex Box. It’s revenue sharing PERIOD.

NIL is a different animal and that is being addressed. But to be clear, it was Woodard who called him while he was preparing to coach his team for his second national championship and told him that really low number in money. Only after the win did that number increase but still way behind our competitors in the SEC.
