Verge and LSU brass better make damn sure they keep Jay happy. Give him whatever he asks for.

UTranny already threw the house at Jay and whiffed.

Then he went and won another natty for LSU.

Jay isn’t going anywhere.

Good thing is he’s known and worked with Ausberry for 5 years now so he won’t have to deal with a new-new boss. They owe him some renovations and upgrades after 2 in 3, but something tells me the coffers will be semi empty for a little bit.

A&M will go after him after firing Early this year. Hopefully Verge isn’t suspended at that time.

LSU better build his indoor and pitching lab in the next 18 months.

This was prior to the circus going on at LSU right now.

Texas A&M is going to be looking for a head coach after this season. LSU better get their ducks in a row very quickly.

The mere thought of Jay Johnson leaving LSU for…A&M…should be a ban worthy offense.

Do better.

I'm surprised they haven't started building the indoor practice facility in the offseason.

Not sure if you saw my post in the other thread but we're on the same page here, brother. Just need to find a way to get it done.

Everyone would have said the same thing about Aggie making the 12 team playoffs before LSU as well. Times change.

There’s a whole lot of fail in this thread. Anyone thinking Jay Johnson isn’t pissed over ranking 13th in the SEC in revenue sharing hasn’t spoken with the man in the last few months. And it isn’t about some practice facility building or upgrades to Alex Box. It’s revenue sharing PERIOD.

NIL is a different animal and that is being addressed. But to be clear, it was Woodard who called him while he was preparing to coach his team for his second national championship and told him that really low number in money. Only after the win did that number increase but still way behind our competitors in the SEC.

Well after how they handled the bullpens, I’m sure they’re trying to figure out how to add club seating on top of it.
