I imagine a relatively small minority on the left are going to be thrilled by the inclusion and outraged when the user made gameplay videos start coming out. A relatively small minority on the right are going to be outraged by the inclusion and thrilled by the user made gameplay videos.
The overwhelming majority won’t care either way and will simply murder everyone or drive very carefully when near pedestrians, depending on their already extant GTA play style.

Just seems like R* would just avoid the controversy instead of presenting it for the player to decide. That feels like an old school PS2 era GTA decision. They already removed some references to LGBT in GTA V due to cultural sensitivity.
They'll end up patching this out or patching in auto-death if you engage violently with any rainbow clad NPCs. All it will take are a few chud highlight reels of barreling through parades or crashing planes into them, etc.
The screeching about hate and bad optics will result in some form of action being taken.

If the parade can meet the same possible fate as all other NPCs, then I welcome the inclusive decision they have made.
