King & Conqueror - Prime

A limited drama about William the Conqueror starring James Norton as Harold Godwinson and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as William. The cinematography was great, the acting was solid but the script was the weak point. It's compelling TV drama if you don't know or care much about this period of time and the Battle of Hastings. But if you know the history, you will recognize this series as fantasy because the writers just made up crap. I enjoyed it as a period drama piece but smh at how far the script was from actual history. I didn’t hate watching it.
