Beating a dead horse

Was anyone else shocked when we were in the redzone, had momentum and flag was thrown. The cameras panned to the ref who was counting LSU players and then calls false start? They never showed the replay either. I know it was a culmination of things as to why we lost. I get it. Between that and the RB being thrown down out of bounds just seemed to be par for the course.

You always have to win twice in T-Town the team and the refs.

I didn't necessarily have a huge problem with the penalties that were called on us, but I did have a problem with the lack of penalties on Bama as well as the lack of review for some things. I don't usually join the circus of posters claiming refs were biased, but this particular game made it impossible to not question it.

Everytime we bust out a big play this season that gets us near the goal line, I always say “get the FG team ready”. It’s inevitable.

The refs were awful. They reviewed every single one of our plays for an entire drive.
Didn’t review any of Bamas questionable plays and just let them do whatever they wanted all night. They literally body slammed one of our players way out of bounds lol and no flag

That's why I ALWAYS pull against the gumpers. Forget SEC loyalty.

They were counting bama players. After they blew it dead, bama's 12th person on the field ran off. The refs then counted 11 bama players and called it a false start on us. Just another example of the absolute bullshite reffing that occured saturday night

Do any of the Bloggers ever give a rundown on officiating.

I couldn't tell who they were counting, just assumed it was us as it was all night. It was telling once they didn't show the replay.

Would the slide play have been reviewed if it was Bama?

This is literally what happened and ive never seen anything like it. I thought the Kirby ehhh we'll give him a pass on the timeout call, free play to uga was most blatant bs. That was so obvious. He counted, and you see him go well f it false starts lsu, fate has chosen my hand and I'm fing kitty tonight

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen them count players AFTER the whistle is blown and flagged. Just one of the many bizarre officiating decisions this game. Stunk to high heavens and people may think I’m crazy but the FBI needs to investigate (not just our games) the SEC crews with all of the gambling shenanigans being exposed.

That was also puzzling was the lack of replays the entire game. Like they only brought half the cameras they normally do.

Dude, this team is garbage in the red zone and after timeouts. No help is needed when the offense “threatens” to score.

seems that way sometimes
but we did have so many false starts
sacks
fumbles
missed FB
trying to run the ball out and get hit on the 15
get inside the 25 4 times and only get 9 pts, that's just what has been an issue all year

That has nothing to do with this thread

I was/am ticked about the Bama linebacker yelling and the defensive line shift which caused our offensive line to jump.
That was illegal for us multiple times even though I have never seen the defense called without jumping I to the neutral zone.
When the refs huddled, I was sure it was going to be a Bama defensive penalty. I was dumb

Referees are always looking at something else when Bama is concerned. Remember the multiple holds one year on the touchdown play.....on both sides of the field?
