Kyle Parker 3
Zavion Thomas 3
Nic Anderson 2
Barion Brown 1

Receiving yards on season:
Barion Brown 405
Aaron Anderson 398
Zavion Thomas 316

Our highest producing WR may wind up around 500-550 yds for the full season. Disgraceful.

Do I upvote for the eye opening content, or downvote for the sheer disappointment?

Hard to believe that Barion Brown leads us in yards. I can"t really think of many impactful receptions he has had. We"be had our weakest WR output in many years I think. A good bit of that is due to play calling and QB play obviously, but some has been due to poor WR play as well.

It's truly asinine. Prior to the season, I was envisioning Barion Brown and Hilton on opposite sides of field both running streaks. If the D only has one safety or is in man coverage, one of them will be open.

Hankton has done nothing with these guys. He inherited Nabers and BTJ from Joseph.

Now total up the money paid to them. Some of us could have told you Brown & Nick Anderson weren’t worth the money.

I think our WRs are overrated. Granted they have no help at QB and OL but they have problems hanging on to the ball when it does finally get to em.

Hank coached them for two years. He also coached Lacy and Aaron Anderson who had a combined 1740 yards and 14 TDs as first time starters at LSU. He also coached multiple NFL WRs at UGA. Since Hank and his WRs have been gone, UGA has had problems with WRs.

I may get on him for rotations, but Barion Brown's biggest knock coming from UK was his hands and ability as a route runner. Nic Anderson played 1 year catching deep balls over 70% of the time 2 years ago.

Add to it that Nuss isn't seeing wide open receivers, Nuss was inaccurate a lot on deep passes, the OC misusing the WRs, and the OL not holding blocks to get the WRs more chances (they threw 65 more passes at this same time last year), it makes perfect sense why the WRs didn't perform like they should.

We need to start MVB, and put an emphasis on downfield passing.

There is a reason for that.

Nuss attempted one pass over 20 yards on Saturday and MVB attempted zero passes over 20 yards. It’s obvious that the offense can’t push the ball downfield no matter who the QB is and I don’t think it’s going to change much going forward.

Screen, screen and more screens. Pathetic. Wasted talent at wide receiver.

He is a no doubter to be fired. He is at the same level of competency as Davis, Sloan and you add those key positions with inferior coaching, you have the offense we have. the worst in my 70+ years of watching LSU football.

And Kyle Parker barely gets snaps… don’t get that. Dude always makes a play and is a physical WR. Needs to play majority of the snaps
