I might do Chili's, but if you claim a sit down meal tip your server based on the full price, the meal might be free but their labor is not!

So a restaurant can eat the cost of goods but not the cost of labor?

We usually do lunch at Red Robin. Gotta look at what other freebies are being offered this year.

I’ll probably drop into Applebee’s or Red Robin for a free cheeseburger & fry.

My 82yo dad will hit a couple restaurants, ha. It’s become his favorite holiday in recent years.

I’m not a vet but I’ve found an old army uniform at goodwill. I love getting dressed up and getting free shite on veterans day.

You are a sad person for even making this joke.

No clue since I have a DOD id card, a VA card and it’s on my DL. I would have it added to my Dl next time you renew just for convenience

I have had one person notice it on my DL and thank me, for most a DL check is a glance at best.

FYI for the Veterans for National Park life time free card, during a two month road/camping trip out west I pulled up to a park and asked how I got my membership, she asked for my ID and my Veterans card, handed me a form to sign and then gave me my card.

A lot of campgrounds also give veteran discounts but you have to ask.

True but for a discount or something it’s easy to show
