NYC Car Service

Wife and daughter are heading to NYC and need to get from EWR to the hotel in midtown. Whats the easiest way? Uber? car service? thanks.

If they have Uber Black Curbside at EWR I'd go that route. We use them when flying into JFK. Otherwise, I'd recommend Blacklane.

I live in NYC and second Carmel, but go with Luxury Sedan or bigger. Full Size sedan can sometimes be run down. They send you a link to click on to call your car when you're grabbing luggage, so it's pretty easy.

With Carmel, you don't have to deal with surge pricing or lack of cars that sometimes happen with Uber/Lyft. They also track your flight and will stick around if you're running late.

I've always used Dial 7 when I go to NYC, but haven't been in quite a few years.

Second this. I use them every time i visit NYC, a few times per year. Never had a bad experience.

I’ve always taken the Taxi stand taxi that is regulated and there at the airport. VERY easy. Not luxury but convenient. Last time a few years ago was about $75.
