No? It's just funny to see how confident some people were in their takes. I'm sorry that your coach didn't work out...

He was LSU's coach. Shouldn't that make him "your coach" as well?

I'm sure there were quite a few funny takes, though

I don't know if you heard or not... Brian Kelly is no longer the coach at LSU.

There is no accountability on this board. Opinions change like a fart in the wind here. No matter how wrong someone was about a coach no one here will ever have the balls to say they were wrong.

Man, I don't know if I've ever been so fooled by a coach. I didn't like the hire immediately, but came around on it very quickly and I was fooled the whole time he was here. I was positive after the 3 game skid last season that he would never win a natty here, but I was cautiously optimistic that he'd get us into the playoffs more often that not.

What an idiot I was.

I tend to support the coach of LSU. LSU above the coach of course as coaches come and go

I’ve got no problem with people having different opinions, it’s why this board exists. I just think it’s funny how many people are convinced that they are 100% right and anyone who disagrees with them is a complete idiot.

I support LSU above all and want LSU to succeed. But I don’t shame people who have logical doubts or reservations about players, coaches, etc. I don’t think that everyone is great just because they play or coach at LSU.

Some of those are just people trying to be positive.

I’ll give credit to those who spotted Kelly as a bad hire early AND presented intelligent analysis for feeling that way but that rarely happens LOL. Usually it’s somebody who was a white knight for the previous coach and they’ve just got sour grapes or some other agenda or somebody trolling to get a thread with lots of responses (like this one).

The, at the time, winningest active coach, which a top 10 recruiting class and a top transfer class, and a returning Heisman-favorite QB should have made for a winning formula. Expectations were high from most people. The people who could see the cracks recognized that the offensive line would be atrocious, and that Sloan was in over his head. Kelly also seem to keep the program on lockdown like an abusive husband. Limited outside contact and tight control over the message.

Boosie is generally rational, I find. RC, not so much.
