I’ve been going through topics and I’ve seen some profiles that’s have been on this site for 10 plus years that keep doubling down on Saban going back to LSU! Do they have legit sources or am I just too naive?

He's really the only one you can speculate on right now because the football season needs to end for anybody else to even think about signing with LSU to be the next head coach

At first I thought it was all fun. But evidently there is real smoke to it. I believe without a doubt LSU offered. I also believe he turned it down. I think it’s couple things.

1) People are just having fun even though it’s getting old now.

2) The rumor mill is churning and just hasn’t died down yet because Saban has not made a public announcement he is not coaching again (which I think happens on GameDay Saturday).

Nobody knows wtf they’re talking about, including these seemingly legit posters.

No it’s just a bunch of silly people on here having fun fooling the gullible crowd on this board. It’s getting past old and worn out at this point though.

We need to dream of a great future to keep our minds off of the disaster Landry has created by thinking he knows what's best...disaster was the nicest word I could think of

He has not been offered. He was called and he said he was NOT interested in Coaching. There was no "offer" it was just a phone call. Can people stop with this BS. Anyone believing or saying otherwise is spreading false information for clicks or falsely trying to pass a rumor they heard as a "inside scoop."

Saban is a smokescreen. Obviously intentional, telling by all the new accounts that keep brining his name up.

He’s the ultimate smokescreen.

Why not?

Is he an option? Yes
Would he be good? Yes
Could Verge’s comments have been a smoke screen? Yes.

If you are a no on all three of those that is fine, but say that all three cannot also be a yes is just not factual.

He’s an option. All options have odds. Long or short.

He's like your hot ex wife you were obsessed with in college.....and never truly got over even though 2 of your 3 ex wives gave you the same thing.

look at some of their post counts. Just because they are 10 years old doesn’t mean crap. Some have 50-100 posts in those 10 years. They are just alter/troll accounts that were created 10 years ago.

That’s a really crummy smokescreen. You don’t want the smokescreen to overshadow the actual hire, which would lead to disappointment in a hire that could potentially be excellent.

That’s really bad PR if true.

I don’t believe there is any evidence to suggest this.

I am an option. So are you.

If you think for one second that Nick will/has not been contacted about the position I’m sorry, but you are crazy.

He’s an option simply based that he will at least be contacted.

Lol

In that case, is there anyone who isn’t an option?

Ryan Day
Kirby Smart
Andy Reid
Nick Sirianni

All options for the LSU head coaching job. Seems a bit disingenuous.

Stop using common sense with lsu fans and Saban. Its like a crazy clingy ex that stalks you long after you moved on and are happy.
