This board is wanting this go round. No imagination. Kelly and Woody broke y'all. Now it's all Saban.....some Kffin and that's it.

Plus so many coaches see the LSU job right now as potential poison. No AD. No President.....no real direction.

A winning Fb coach rarely loses a face off with the AD or school president. especially at a school like LSU.
So just come here and win and does it matter who cuts your check?

I don’t necessarily like the g5 option. Personally if we can’t get a big name. Go find a HC that is outperforming expectations year in year out at a p4 school that doesn’t have the resources to be a power house

Coaches don't sign to play school. Winning and Money are at the top of the list.

I saw it.....no imagination . Plus this time, I don't see where there will be a horde of P5 coaches ready to sell their mothers to get at the LSU job.
1) Too many openings right now with PSU, UF, Auburn, Maryland, Arkansas and others open or opening up.
2) Despite what is said about LSU being the cream, the fact that LSU fires its coach and AD in the same week after 3.5 years on the job for the coach and , what, 5-6 for the AD. Makes agents cringe for their clients.
3) Plus I think Texas could open up if Haslem opens up the checkbook for the Titans......that throws multiple insects into the ointment.
I really think we go the G5 route this time.
