I’m hearing he wants to leave and Geaux play with a real Qb! Can we find one?

I remember we were trending for him and expecting to land him out of high school. I want to say he and Hurley played summer league together.

Going to take more than most schools will pay.

Would hope someone else can outbid Bama. Coleman and Williams on the same team would be nasty.

Makes zero sense for us to pay insane money for him for one season

I mean if we have the pieces to make a run (impossible to tell if we will at this stage) it would absolutely make sense to pay insane money to land maybe the best player in the country.

Guys like Cam Coleman are WHO you spend insane money on.

Not a guy like Nic Anderson who flashed as a freshman and missed an entire season, not Barion Brown who is an elite return man who is trying to bump his stock as a WR.

You spend insane money on the Cam Coleman, Mansoor Delane, and AJ Haulcey's of the world.

That's why you always go with what you see and your gut. I wasn't that impressed with that nic anderson freshman yr. It looked like all he was good at was deep catches. It was almost kinda fluky if you watch all the plays.

I liked Mario craver jr. The kid that went to a&m from miss state.

Brown could've been a star if we could complete passes over 15 yards. Running him on 7 yd comebacks is the problem.

We lead the nation in drops, and have no true possession receiver, or downfield stretch a defense consistent threat. Hes both. He would be huge for us to get for whomever new qb 1 is

We also lose zavion, barion, maybe aa.

I know, but when discussing who you should drop a bag on, it's always the established super star over the potential stud.

Brother, I have been banging this drum all year

Our WR would beat the CB off the ball by 2 yards, then have to come back into the already beaten CB to make a contested catch for a 6 yard gain. I think Sloan misused our pieces more in one year than Miles' OCs did in 10

Reminded me of Terrace Marshall's high school highlights, but Terrace was utilized properly here.

I’m not arguing Coleman’s talent level. He’s a game changer when schemed properly. His asking price will be too high for us who will need a lot of help in other areas to build a competitive team.

The entire defense should be back besides delane, haulcy, and maybe whit/ perks. Both night consider their sr years with whit missing half the year, and bulk of meaningful games, and Perkins nfl prospects being low right now.

Offense. Especially qb/ oline/ wr, will be where the $ is spent this transfer season.

Glad there is SOMEBODY else who understands LSU isn't losing their arse next year with exits. We'll lose guys like Gooden, Guillory, Pyburn, Payton, Delane, West, Perk, and Haulcy, but i expect everybody else to come back. And while that sounds like a lot, the thing is, half of those players were either mediocre, or not good enough for what we wanted them for. Payton and Pybburn don't know what getting a sack means, West is too damn slow and always looks like he's chasing a QB after a 10+ yard gain. Perk, without Whit Weeks in the fold, seems completely unable to be the man on defense.

LSU has an extremely fast and loaded young LB room. Raymond has stocked the shelf at DB. The DL is loaded including what's coming in to college.

It's hit or miss but I thought the same thing about cj daniels then he went to a real offense. I don't blame the transfer receivers one bit. Oc trash wr rotation trash. 5'8 gadget guy playing x wr. Trash Qb that rested on laurels and didn't put in the work to get better and build chemistry in the offseason. Any other offense these wrs probably are doing just fine

Perkins., i dont think he'll be happy with his draft grade, so why not collect nice Nil and go from 4-6th rd to maybe top 2 rounds

I feel like that's more likely than not. Especially if Frank is still on the staff.

He could also wow in the back stretch and get a round 1-2 grade and bounce, or he could just be ready to leave.

I feel (based on no inside info) that he is coming back.

Is his NIL gonna be as nice as it's been? Cause that has to be a consideration.

Pyburn, Payton, West Weeks, Gooden, Guillory will also be gone. That’s 9 current starters. That doesn’t even include possible early draft entries or guys who could hit the portal. There will be a big turnover on both sides of the ball and we’ll need to be smart about where we allocate NIL money.

Selfishly assuming reliford/ shanklin will offset pyburn, payton. But true... payton will be big loss.

West not at all.

Gooden and guillory both have played well, but mckinley/ breaux and 3 fr are back. But true again, lose solid 2 there.

Hoping whit and or Perkins come back to at least make back 7 steady, mature unit besides losing delane.

Front of reliford, mckinley, breaux, shanklin ain't half bad. 4 top 125 overall recruits coming in at de and dts
