Any thoughts. Never been but buddy wants to watch the game there Saturday then go out after. Seems a little dumpy but I can enjoy myself anywhere

Its a seafood restaurant with outdoor seating. Its not really dumpy at all

Another consideration in the Mid-City area is Mid-City Yacht Club on S. St. Patrick St. on the corner of Baudin, across from the ballpark.
They have a well stocked bar, lots of TV's and a full service kitchen if you get hungry. There is indoor and outdoor seating available with a large patio area behind the main bar.
I'm sure they'll have LSU/Bama on some of the screens, although it has a big Ohio State following for some ungodly reason.

Awesome place. My favorite boiled crawfish in the city. Owner is a great guy and puts out some really good food.

It's a great locals place with a deck overlooking the boil station. Fried seafood is on point. The bar pours a proper drink and they are also the official crawfish boilers of jazz fest. Also the chef /owner James is a great guy all around.
