All these supposed "insiders" who think they know someone that knows someone tyring to get message board cred?

I like the " I know something, but can't say yet." Then, whenever something happens they claim it is what they knew.

I actually find it really funny and entertaining.

“It’s all smoke, you’ll know what’s happening soon, just be patient” is my favorite.

It’s people wanting to feel more important than they actually are. It’s great.

I was tired of it back when Saban left initially. Nobody knows anything

Not really, because we can choose to believe or not.

I find it fun, but I'm not as easily bothered by such things.

I don't blame you if it bothers you though. Not at all. At some point some should maybe stop beating around the bush. Call their shot.

A lot of times they don't, but I've definitely seen some posters be right on their calls that were not obvious.

There was a former MLB pitcher who use to post on here and I very much remember him telling us that LSU was hiring Jay Johnson before anyone else hardly even knew who he was. Nobody saw that coming, but he came around to post it at a time when others were saying Bianco, the Oregon State coach that had retired, and O'Sullivan. The funny thing is the way he casually mentioned it instead of looking to get credit. He wasn't looking for any clout. It was more like, "Hey I heard you guys are hiring Jay Johnson." And like I said, it was at a time that most people wouldn't even know his name let alone have him linked to LSU.

I admit this example is not quite the same as people acting like they have LSU connections. He actually had Arizona connections that I believe lead to him knowing it before others. I think he may have pitched for the Diamondbacks. However, my point is I have seen some posters be correct. Often times it's because they have a roundabout connection to LSU instead of a direct one. Not sure if that makes sense.

If you just take it with a grain of salt and realize they are just giving their opinion I find it entertaining to refute the shite they are saying is "sourced." LMFAO

No it really doesn't bother me that much. The fun is in trying to decipher what sounds more legit than others.
