I love the toughness Kyle Wittingham brings.

I know it would be tough to get him out of Utah, and some may worry about age which I think is nonsense (9 years younger than Saban).
He regularly has his team out-physicalling more “talented” teams, including embarrassing Lincoln and USC.
I say throw the bag at him for 5 years with the allure of pairing his tough physical brand of football with top-5 recruiting classes.

He’s been a great football coach for years. How long has he been at Utah?

I think he took over for Urban.

Dude is older than BK, I'll pass on the old men from here on out

So he’s entrenched?

He’s been there in some capacity since 1994 and is Mormon. Yeah…. I’d say so

But, does Whittingham have the desire to bring LSU to the top?? Obviously, BK didn’t. The next coach must know what he’s entering, and have a 100% desire and plans to get the Tigers to #1….again, and again, and again

I've mentioned his name on here and elsewhere. He's 65, and would probably never leave, but he would kick this program into shape.
Plus, he can recruit Samoans. There are no "soft" Samoans.

He's been a position coach, coordinator, or head coach at Utah since 1994. He's 65 years old, a Mormon, and went to high school in Provo, Utah. I'm thinking he is not moving from Utah. Just a guess, though.

Great coach, not leaving Utah unless he retires or drops dead on the sideline
