It was very hit and miss in Metairie. There were several better options, so we stopped going.

Thoughts on Ember. We’ve been once. I thought it was pretty good but what we ordered was hot AF.

It’s empty every time I drive by lately.

Ember is our go to Indian place. I hope it survives.

Can you provide a few examples? Have been looking for a few new spots.

I like Taj Mahal the best, but haven’t been to the spots on Magazine (saffron, Namaste). Also options in the WB.

LuFu for inventive Indian.
Ember is delicious.

Plume is our overall favorite for casual Indian. Saffron is a step above, but we miss when they were on the westbank. It many ways it was better than the current incarnation.

I guess the last one was India 4 You. Was really goodat first, then it went down. The last few times we ordered it was really hot to the point of not being palatable.

I also enjoy Plume. Unfortunate that it will close soon.

Looks like where Desi Vegas was. Hopefully they have a buffet style. I like to try multiple things.
