is there a reason we couldn’t announce the hire effective at the end of their season? Pelini did this going from LSU DC to Nebraska HC. It’s not like people there will have an issue with him taking a promotion.

Wasn’t Chip Kelly the OC last year?
If so, what makes Hartline more qualified than any other 1st year coordinator or successful G5 head coach?

PSU might hire Hartline and I get why. His ceiling due to his recruiting prowess might make him an elite coach. But, on the other hand, Ohio St recruits well regardless of who their coaches are.

nothing. he was a WR on the 2007 team LSU beat in the natty. i remember him well.
