This board hates Landry (with good reason), ties their self worth into what people on TV and the internet say about LSU, and has zero clue what is actually going on with the coaching search

Here’s the deal, LSU Football is serious shite. Governor Dumbass is not a serious person. He is like a retard or a child. The serious people who are responsible for LSU football will ignore him, as they should. Sucks we have to go through a couple media cycles of embarrassment due to the assclown, but make no mistake, the assclown is irrelevant to this process.

So many people lack critical thinking skills and are bleeding all over themselves because they think any of this matters to potential coaches/players and they are worried about “how we look tomorrow on game day!!”

I keep seeing this, I think some are misreading the situation....the issue is not firing of either Kelly or Scott. The percentage of folks upset about this are minimal on the whole and most don't have a big issue with this.
It's Landry and his Grandstanding and HIS low IQ remarks and utter and unbelievable lack of self-awareness and understanding of basic common sense public relations.

All of this could have been accomplished without the public spectacle. Maybe it doesn’t affect the next hire but it’s not very hard to see why people are pissed about the Governor interjecting himself in a way where the only possible outcomes are either neutral or negative for the coaching search.
People care about LSU football and are upset that the situation wasn’t handled as well as it could have been. Simple as.

But who cares about that?
He pulled the correct trigger on the biggest decision regarding the program in a decade.... everyone thought we were stuck with the BK shitshow for another few years.
He stepped up and lead the removal including the other problem, SW... nobody else could have done that without a strong President in place.
Now he's a look-at-me politician so of course there's gonna be stupdi statements.
But he's not hiring the new coach or meddling around in that... he cleared the way.

This perspective is baffling to me. Landry brought transparency to a negative situation/process most fans wanted to see resolved. Instead of appreciating the view, you’d rather say remain ignorant of the sausage making from selecting arguably the second most high profile position in the state? Imagined everyone would appreciate transparency of the state institutions when available.

Now you see, this is the perspective that's baffling to me.
Whatever part Landry played in this I appreciate those that want to deflect from the embarrassment he's been from the minute this came out because Kelly and Woody got fired and many and most here are O.K. with that.
And a few apparently think that it's o.k. and doesn't matter that he's doing and saying ignorant and embarrassing things nearly non-stop ever since in the name of LSU and in representation of the state of Louisiana. A handful are really resolute that this doesn't matter. I could not disagree more, but I appreciate the passion for that position.
And just because he "says" he won't participate in the hiring process....I mean do you really believe that? What in his grandstanding, self-serving short tenure as Gov would make anyone think that he won't?

This is where I disagree; the only embarrassment I can tell that’s warranted is on the LSU football program for subpar performance and SW for being publicly rebuked for his personnel and fiscal decision making leading to said subpar performance. I see no ignorant or embarrassing Landry comments; which specifically rile you the most? Judge him by what he actually does m not what you “suspect “ he will do…
