Why is everyone forgetting that Scott allowed a DC to be hired without any interview?

And had to pay him 6 million. Also sat back and watched the men’s bball program die. Dude was let go for other reasons besides a pissing match with the governor.

He also allowed O to fake OC interviews

Who is overlooking that?
Haven’t seen a single person. What everyone disagrees with is an attention whore moron of a governor embarrassing himself and the state by running his mouth for no reason.

Plenty of people. I’ve posted about it multiple times but the response is “was he not supposed to get the DC O wanted?” “It’s not his job to interview the DC”
Every time there is an excuse on why its not Woodward fault that he costs LSU massive amounts of money

Want to let him go? Let him go. No huge argument from me. ALL of this wrangling should’ve been happening behind closed doors, but someone felt the need to want to open his mouth in public. This is ridiculous.

What is this “massive” amount of money?
Yes, BK was a total miss. But are you under the impression that we could have hired a successful coach for $75,000 a year? What massive amount of money are you talking about?
We know—we swung and missed on a coaching hire.

$50 million is a massive amount of money and is the second largest buyout in history.
Simultaneously we are paying the number 8 buyout in history.
$6 million is also a massive amount of money for a DC who wasn’t interviewed to NOT coach.

I’m under the impression that we could have hired Dan Lanning for 6 years and $29 million.
At this point the buyout would have been $7 million had we fired him though I am confident that we would be extending him rather than firing.
But scott is too lazy to find someone like that

Exactly people still defend lil Woody on Fisher’s contract at Texas A&M too. They will say, “Woodward didn’t give Fisher the extension at Texas A&M.” Lmao They totally disregard the fact he gave Fisher a 10 year contract too. There would be no extension without the original contract.

Not the buyout, and even if it were—NOT PUBLIC MONEY

Nope, private donors and TAF

That’s money they aren’t giving players.
Speaking of which NIL and collectives is another place good ole Catlick High Scotty missed the boat.
He allowed TAMU and Ole Miss to pass us by like we were standing still.
