I’m not saying Kelly was ever going to last a while, or even make it through the season, but this defense got a lot worse when Whit went down.

I think he handles Pavia a lot better than the others did and A/M probly still beats us but doesn’t run away with it like they did.

Frankly I’m glad BK is gone as we needed a reset, but I think Whit going down really sped things along.

We still lose to Vandy with Whit.

Maybe our defense doesn’t give up 49 but we still lose to A&M

Whit didn’t play against Vanderbilt.

The answer is true.

I don't see Whit as factoring into this at all, everyone should have been able to see the writing on the wall, BK came here for a retirement package, and that's all

If whit was healthy and able to play, Pavia is much more limited, and, we likely beat Vanderbilt.

this has nothing to do with the question though. If Whit was healthy against OM and played against Vandy and A&M, we likely have one more win and are still in playoff contention. Kelly would not be fired in that scenario.

I don't know about whether Kelly is still here but I do think we win a couple of those games with Whit healthy. And having Him and Gooden out for Vandy was huge. Doesn't change the fact they had serious offensive issues.

We beat vandy with whit. Lbs were literally the issue the entire game ha. Couldn't cover in zone or man to man on tes for big 1st downs, couldn't get to the edges on 2nd half edge and end around runs. Pavia walked for 80 yds on 4 carries untouched. Cant tell me whit doesnt alleviate half of that as a 1st team all sec lb

I have always believed that LSU BEATS Vandy if Whit Weeks plays. The game was competitive and the LSU LB play wasn't even at a HS level. That first almost TD was Pavia was unbelievable. Where in the hell were the LBs when he ran 20 yards right up and middle and a LB not even in the picture. They weren't rushing because LSU didn't even blitz on that play.

A&M is another story. Weeks makes a marginal difference there but LSU still gets blown out. Bottom line: I don't think Kelly would still have his job but he would have gone out with a 6-2 record instead of 5-3.

We lost by 1 score when his bro continued a 7 pt drive of there's with late hit, and an oc that wouldt run into 3 and 4 man fronts. He also missed many drives in the game hurt/ sick

We ran more against vandy and lbs were exposed more then any position group. Didnt say ole miss game, the vandy game we win, yes.

The A&M game would have still had the same outcome with Whit.

With a full speed Weeks, those QBs do not get lose like they did. The success against running QBs early on was because you had Weeks directing D and pushing the pocket, with other cleaning up.

This is all Lan Kiffin's plan. Send his daughter to wear out Weeks, he gets hurt, LSU loses, Kelly gets fired.

KIFFIN GETS THE JOB.

The LBs literally were in man, if you watched the play Perk is in man, west flys out the middle because there’s a man open and Keys is on the rb in man. Unless you’re suggesting whit wouldn’t had picked up his man and would of been sitting there. Every big qb run has came against LSU in man while the LBs are running with their man
