The NBA is the only sport of the big 3 that I’ve never really had a team. It’s always been the player that made we watch and pull for teams.
I think MJ ruined pro Basketball for me.

Does insurance pick up the tab to cover salaries of players who are always out? Or is that only for season ending injuries?

Since Luka entered the league he’s played at least 60 games 6 times, AD twice, so yes

Fair but it's obvious to see it isn't trending the right direction. The only way the Mav's don't go down as an all time losers in this trade is if Luka becomes consistently hurt or Flagg becomes an All-NBA player. Luka very well might help them out.

Player has to be out a certain amount of games before insurance kicks in. Since no sports except nhl and NBA play similar amount of games, it's all based on a game number
