It’s not about what he said. It’s about where he said it. He just likes to hear himself talk. I don’t see any benefit in going on television and trashing our current AD. If someone does, please explain it to me.
Firing a head coach already creates enough problems. I’m not saying firing BK was wrong. I’m saying there’s no reason to stir up more drama than we already have, especially when it’s coming from our governor.
It’s fine to have opinions, but someone with that much attention should know when to keep certain ones to themselves. Especially when they clearly have middle-school-level knowledge of the topic. I’m honestly shocked Jeff even criticized Scott, considering how much he obsesses over A&M.

He went on TV and trashed the women’s team for being in the locker room for the anthem. When it’s what many teams do and it’s not even protesting anything.
He has to make everything political even if it makes LSU look bad.
I wish he would stay out of LSU at least publicly. He once said if a student athlete doesn’t stand for the flag they should have their scholarship removed. I prefer everyone to stand for the flag, but that’s absurd.

It all started with the TEMU tiger he brought in for the bama game. Ever since then Jeff has been on my bad side. Bad omen if I ever saw one

Not to mention how negatively it will affect a prospective coach’s perception that the AD is run by a clown show headed up by that freaking idiot. He needs to absolutely butt the frick out of this- all of this! What a clown show he’s making this!

He said Trump should choose the next coach. For that alone he should be impeached, certainly proves that he’s a fricking idiot.

That’s not exactly what he said. Just said he’d rather trump pick the next HC over Woodward.
He’s clearly got a few screws loose with how he’s acting.

Woodward has failed at his job and should be canned for it , but I agree it shouldn’t have been on TV at a press conference.I absolutely do not want Woodward involved in this next coaching hire though. I’m pretty certain that this signaled the end of Woodward and LSU.
My biggest problem is what he said with regards to Jimmy Sexton. If we are pursuing Kiffin then that was about as boneheaded thing he could have done.

His actions today shrunk the pool of potential coaches. He’s trying to be trump. Why not worry about improving the state instead of acting like a fool. His comments about Woodward paying these high buyouts are ridiculous. One, jimbo’s contract wasn’t his in the end. Bjork extended him and gave him a raise. Two, lsu pays less than $500,000 a year to Kelly, the rest is from donors. If they want to pay it, that’s their decision. Landry better pray this hire turns out to be correct because if it doesn’t, he’s out next election
