Will we have a PR problem on our hands soon if Frank does well as interim?

I can see it now:

LSU hired Ed Orgeron in 2016 after a successful stint as interim head coach, but they didn’t hire Frank Wilson for doing the same thing in 2025?!?!
Muh racism!

Ryan Clark and all the clowns on ESPN will be licking their chops. What a shite show

If he beats Bama and Oklahoma why not?

It would be worse than the O pumping for obvious reasons.

Because he’s proven to be a losing head coach at several different places. You don’t make enormously important decisions like this off of feelings, emotions, and fleeting whims.

Gosh we have some complete morons in our fanbase.

Why was he selected to be interim?

Well a team LSU did beat had them on the ropes, and we have seen numerous time a team comes out with hair on fire after a coach is fired.

I would hire him if he benched Nuss for the remaining games.

Jesus Christ…yeah huge PR problem if the guy who loves LSU, but humbly understands it’s probably temporary, wins out. Did you even watch the press conference?

‘When asked if the coming weeks and months are a resume builder for Wilson, his response was clear. "I can't," he said. "I have to be where my feet are ... I have to be in this moment. To do anything besides that would be a mistake."’

This isn’t someone chasing a position, despite anyone else’s narrative. He legit loves this place and wants it to succeed. I can almost guarantee he will be retained even if he isn’t offered the head coaching position.

I think we go to Alabama and drag our balls all over em, and their cheerleaders....play loose with nothing to lose letting them all hang out.

The players will be sky high for this.....the coach everybody hated that was in charge is gone....time to frick shite up

They will play so hard for Frank...Alabama frickkked

If he does well give him the rebuild year too. It'll lessen the buyout hit.

What did I say that was wrong? Nothing

You’re an idiot if you think an interim coach should be hired as the permanent coach just because he helped a mediocre team salvage what was left of their season.

If you don’t hire Kiffin …..

Then all the other candidates I’ve seen “listed” …. throw them all in a bag and all are basically the same !!

So to me.. Wilson, Sumrall, Drinkwitz, et al ……
They are ALL basically the same.

Kiffin is the Alpha Dog with Magnetism ….and the one that makes a difference in attracting QBs and Offensive players !!!!

Yes.. acknowledging NIL has to be competitive as well.
