Dear Scott Woodward RE: Next LSU HFB Coach

Hi Scott - as you know, in the end it is all about making the CFB playoffs, winning the SEC Championship, and winning the National Championship.
Obviously the trick is to maintain the LSU apparatus' support during the journey towards these ultimate, pre-ordained outcomes.
Please articulate to HFB candidates that LSU has some of the best fans, boosters, and people the world over, so long as the relationship is clearly defined.
Please encourage the individual to be himself, no need to pretend. Most of us won't care where he's from or how he talks, so long as it's genuine.
Please clearly articulate that his job is to recruit the very best athletes in Louisiana, and nationally, then extract the most out of those players week in and week out, year in and year out.
Please clearly articulate that his job is to outsmart and outcoach the opposition - consistently.
Make it known that he will have the resources, he will have the talent.
As you know, Scott, BR has humbled many a man from time immemorial.
Advise him to steer clear of the underbelly, to stay focused, and winning big will probably take care of itself.
Yours truly,
Bruce

Scott won't be making this hire, dude. He's on the way out.

Good letter and sound advice, but rewrite send it to Wade at McNeese.

Geez it's still early at the bar. Everyone knows the hot "chicks" don't start showing up until after 9 pm

Woodward should have exactly ZERO input on hiring the next head coach. He's had 3 catastrophic failures as AD in the 2 biggest sports.

I am sorry, the number you have dialed is no longer in service or has been disconnected. If you feel you have reached this recording in error please redial and try again......after the new AD is hired.

Scott is going to have zero say so in the next hire.
He is next to go and it will be very soon.
