Perkins loafing cost us points

On ESPN 104.5 “ Off the Bench” today Matt Flynn did a film breakdown of the aTm game. ( check their YouTube feed to see the film). He pointed out twice HP7 could have stopped an aTm touchdown but was trotting after aTm player rather than running full speed. Get well soon Whit!

I was just talking to a coworker about this. My 5 year old runs around in circles on the soccer field sometimes looking at anything but the ball, and Perkins reminded me of that several times Saturday. It almost feels intentional

I hate it for Perkins but the defense was better last season when he went out

He made a couple bidness decisions, especially on one of the Reed scrambles for a td. He was so late to react just half arse jogged to meet him at the goal line

I said it in the middle of this game. Harold is only good when his assignment is to get upfield and make a play in the backfield. If he has to play in space and make a read, he's been terrible. Extremely disappointing considering that many considered him to have elite instincts. Needs to be coached significantly better.

Not only does he loaf, but I've seen multiple film studies that make me think he doesn't know what he is supposed to do on some plays.
He looks lost out there sometimes and doesn't know his assignment. He easily gets distracted into areas of the field that are not his assignment.
Which is crazy because he has the green dot on his helmet and makes the defensive calls.
