Why is no one mentioning Chris Petersen?

Many people are talking about calling up Saban and even some mentioning Urban Meyer. Why is no one mentioning Chris Petersen? Is he seriously done with CFB? I think he would dominate at LSU.

Didn’t his kid have medical issues that forced him to step away?

He has not coached in over 5 years. Enjoying the salmon and coffee up in the Pacific Northwest

I believe so.
Besides 1 year at Pittsburgh he has coached in the northwest and UC Davis (however you would classify that), so that could be an issue. He is a solid coach and I would at least make a phone call. I think he would politely turn down the job but it's still worth at least a phone call.

He’s a great coach and a good man. He also seems like the type that can have a life outside of football and I doubt he’d want to leave that to be thrown to our retarded fanbase.

I dont think he has the motivation and drive to coach in SEC.

He’s been out of the game too long, he has said multiple times that he is happy doing what he’s doing.
