Being a (former) state employee, BK’s buyout settlement will be made public no?

I would assume so, though I’m not versed enough in legalese to know if the buyout being negotiated down makes it separate from his initial contract, therefore the agreed upon figure won’t be on the books.

Don’t think the number has been anything more than assumed looking back through pages, I’m sure it will be stickied if/when released.

Considering information that's surfacing he very likely could be fired for cause . It should consider and accept any offer from LSU with grace and gratitude.

LSU will likely show class and professionalism in their offer.

My sincere hope is they are not allowing Woodward in the room with Sexton. Hopefully they have hired a seasoned negotiator.

I would have done it but my reputation as a hard line negotiator might be too strong for the board.

His contract is with LSU. Regardless of where the money comes from, any settlement/addendum to that contract should become public record.

Well, if LSU is trying to conjure up reasons to not pay BK whst he is rightfully owed per the terms of his contract, they should be ashamed. What coach would want to work for a school thst would do something like that?
