I really think Golesh would excel here and he has that Alpha attitude we’ve been missing.

He has experience in the SEC & has a specialty.. done with the CEO, master of none, bullshite.

Also taking a 1-11 USF and taking them above .500 in 1 year is impressive.

So why would he succeed where Napier failed? Just curious not saying he shouldn't get a look.

As long as Peyton Houston is healthy he is going to make a lot of head coaches happy. He can run scripted plays and when the play breaks down he is street ball king. The kid can flat out ball.

All I can say is these type of hires are crap shoots.. I would much rather this route than a Woody dinosaur retread special.

As far as offense is concerned nothing will change if #18 plays.
Are you somehow under the impression he has an option to be here next year, even if someone did want him to be?

Are you somehow under the impression Alex Golesh and Peyton Houston, the subjects of the thread, are going to be involved in the remaining games?

No knock on him at all. I watched the first 3 USF games this year. Just imagine some aren’t as familiar with the name.

Kenny Dillingham. Coached under Norvell at Memphis and Florida St. Turned Jordan Travis from an athlete at QB, to an actual QB. He coached Bo Nix in his only good year at Auburn, and then coached him again when he transfered to Oregon.

List of RBs he helped put in the NFL, Darrell Henderson, Tony apollard, Bucky Irving, and Cam Skattebo.

Went to playoffs in 2nd year at ASU as HC.

Similar background as Saban but on off side when LSU hired Saban
Sometimes you just have to think out of the box and see the future rather than looking at the past and hoping that translates into the future.
Until I hear different, Alex Golesh is my choice to be the next great coach in college football. I would welcome him getting that chance at LSU.
