Sexiest hire for LSU would be Lane Kiffin

But the best hire would be Brent Key. And don't kid yourself. He would leave GT in a heartbeat to come to Baton Rouge.
With Kiffin, the prospects might be exciting but the high-powered offense is a thing of the past (at least for now). Teams can't build enough for an offensive juggernaut due to lack of cohesiveness brought on by NIL and TP carousels.
Brent Key would bring fundamentals at least on offense and this kind of thinking would also bring it to the defensive side as well.
Nothing would worry me more as an Alabama fan as much as facing an LSU team who is fundamentally sound and along with the talent that grows naturally from your state.

Key is at his Alma mater and has a cake walk to the playoffs every year.

Brent Key is the name this cycle that people are going to overhype then he’s going to go like 5-7 next season at Georgia Tech. The guy was 4-4, 7-6, 7-6 before this season, he’s not it

Could be but could also become a winner there. Could do a lot more at a place like LSU.
