On his post game show Charlie made a good point about things being on hold until a new LSU President is named. His reasoning is that in addition to Kelly the board should also consider getting rid of Woodward. Woodward's last two football head coach picks....Jimbo Fisher and Kelly....were expensive contracts that both had to be bought out not to mention McMann who also needs to be replaced. Ironically LSU got beat last night by the new TAM AD's pick to fix Woodward's overpaid Fisher mistake.

Woodward has cost Texas AM and LSU big money and needs to go.

Board had no problem adding an increase to ticket prices so I think they can handle all of this too without a President.

They don't care about basketball. McMahon might get an extension for a .500 record.

Who would become AD? Austin Thomas? Eddie Nunez leaves UH?

Maybe a President could keep the Board from picking the absolute worst possible time to announce a price increase?

Well, second worst time. Today would have been the worst. But the point still stands.

Woodward didn't extend Jimbo, his successor, Ross Bjork did, Bjork is now the AD at Ohio State.

Woodward did give Jimbo the 10 year deal, but Bjork extended the deal after year 3.

That was criminal itself to extend the contract of a coach that had no leverage against the program. He had no interest in leaving and little to no chance of being lured away. We got hosed.
