Is this a fact? Do you mean it literally or contextually? I hadn’t heard that.
There are a lot of rules about the use of campaign donations, with different sets for “hard money” and “soft money” (PAC money).

Yes, it’s sad that this is a possibility. It’s symbolic of many of the other changes Trump has made, especially those done by executive order.
It would be great if the redistricting process (and corrections made to the ‘’miscount” of the census - a swing of 8 seats!) gave the Republicans a supermajority so more permanent changes could be made.
