I don’t see how LSU gets any NIL donations for next season if Kelly is still here.

LSU told donors they’d have to donate more for LSU to compete for championships. LSU fans/donors stepped up and LSU brought in a top transfer portal class because they had one of the biggest NIL budgets in the country. It turns out that it was a complete waste of money.
There is no reason to believe anything will change next year if Kelly is retained. You may think you’re saving money by retaining Kelly, but you may end end up with 1/4 of the NIL money that you had for this year.
It’s certainly not ideal, but sometimes yiu just have to cut your losses.

Have never given a dollar to NIL and don’t see that ever changing without there being some sort of contract tied to it. I’m not paying for militia without a commitment in return

Idiots will still give. They think it’s their responsibility to pay a bunch of entitled athletes to show up as if those athletes give a crap about LSU.
