BK has no respect for LSU fans - “That football team just worked their tail off to get an SEC win and you want to know what’s wrong. You know what? You’re spoiled. You’re spoiled. 9/13/25 after UF game
BK has no respect for LSU traditions - “Look, we’ve been fortunate to have great crowds here, and the energy is always good. But at this level, it’s not about the noise or the lights. It’s about execution. We’ve seen teams come in here and win before; it’s a football game, not a rock concert. Our guys have to focus on the details, not the distractions. The crowd helps, sure, but it’s not going to block a tackle or throw a pass for us.” - 10/20/25 before A&M game
BK has no respect for LSU players - “ “Everybody that’s here wants to do well, and loves LSU. But right now, we’re coming up short of what our expectations are here. And that’s frustrating. These guys have poured everything into this, but we’ve got to look in the mirror. The penalties, the missed tackles, the inability to finish drives—that’s on us as players and coaches. But it starts with the players doing their jobs at a championship level. We’re not there yet, and it’s disappointing because we know we can be.” 10/20/25 after Vandy game.
BK has no self awareness of himself, and no respect for LSU as a “blue blood” - “I get it, the passion here is unmatched, and that’s why I came. But let’s be real: LSU is a great program, but in the SEC, we’re just another team in a conference stacked with blue-bloods like Georgia, Alabama, and now Texas and Oklahoma. Everyone’s chasing the same thing, and no one’s entitled to it. Tradition is what we build year to year, not what we rest on. We’ve got to earn it every Saturday, or we’re no different from the rest fighting for scraps.”
He and his staff have shown zero ability to properly prepare players nor game plans for SEC football. He has 1,000 excuses but just does the same thing each week expecting different results. This isn’t VA 5A and he isn’t Herman Boone. 6 plays won’t cut it here.
It’s time for him to go, with cause, for I believe there are plenty of minor breaches of the “gross negligence” clause including player accountability and staff management.
Breach of Contractual Duties: Material failure to perform core responsibilities (e.g., refusing to coach games without justification) after a 30-day cure period, or repeated lesser breaches showing “gross negligence.”
I also believe multiple of his actions have caused “disrepute” (another part of “For Cause” termination) to LSU including his fake southern accent, the slamming his fist incident, and disparaging of fans, reporters, and Tiger Stadiium. If documentation hasn’t been presented on this I believe it is a dereliction of duty on University Administration.

I was as big a Brian Kelly defender the first few years and liked the way he was building the team. But at this point I can admit that it’s not working out. The Baker hire was great, but Sloan and Kelly on offense have been terrible.
I don’t know what the answer is in this era of college football with NIL and playoffs, but you need a coach who gets the new way of doing things.
