Was Nuss crying on the bench because he was injured or he thought the season was over?

First, I like the kid's passion if he was just crying because we lost to a heated rival in Vandy and he thinks the Commodores might not make it to the Conference title game where he would get a chance to avenge the L.

I do have a problem if the "Tears on the Bench" were because he believes that a 2nd SEC Loss at this point of the season means that all of LSU's preseason goals are theoretically toast.

If that is the mindset of Nussmeier, he might as well treat the reason of the season like a meaningless Bowl Game (a la last season) and OPT OUT to prepare for the NFL Draft.

Or because he just realized the coach is a fraud and he should have gone pro after last season.

Him staying got him as the expected #1 overall pick and Heisman candidate

HIS play has led to him being a late round flyer.

If that was his final game, that would be another conversation entirely. But you can't be crying in that situation. I understand it was a hard game, but the season isn't over yet. Still have to play the games and anything can happen.

It's such a bad morale thing to have that.

He acts injured on every play. I know he took a beating this game, but he is always hobbling off the field any time he gets touched. On a couple of the sacks that happened las weekend, he could've easily stepped up in the pocket and moved around with his mobility, but he dropped to the ground as soon as the guy touched his foot.

Nuss has been a huge disappointment this season. We all thought he was going to take the next step and it hasn't happened. It looks like he regressed significantly.

A lot of it is the offensive line and lack of running game, but most of the deranged Nuss Bus fans immediately go to "HE'S INJURED!!!!" without looking at his body of work this year and last year. He just hasn't played well in big time games period.

I want to see Colin Hurley at least once. Seems like he's been on campus for 3 years!

He saw Vandy's QB and realized he is not even close to a good QB.

No, his POS line and POS OC, along with an injury is what has bombed his stock

I'm beyond sick of him at QB. The limp every single time he even touches the ground drives me up the wall.
