LSU’s O/U for first quarter points tomorrow is 2.5

LSU’s O/U for first quarter points tomorrow is 2.5 at -135 odds, that has to be a lock right? I feel like best case scenario we score 17 points in the first quarter and then on the complete opposite side if you’re coming out of the first quarter with only a field goal you’re disappointed, but that over still cashes

No lock, sloan probably won’t make a first down on the first drive, he likes his 3 and outs for the first series, so that’s 7-8 minutes gone by the time they get the second series

Good bet, simply because Kelly likes to take the ball first. You get an extra possession in the 1Q.

Well we will almost assuredly get the ball first regardless of who wins the toss so thats a plus.
The problem is we haven't scored on an opening possession all year so getting the ball first likely won't matter. I'd like to think we will get 3 first quarter points but I just cant trust Sloan to come out with a good game plan.
