Love the movie, it is just an all around very fun flick. Acting is great, story is really well put together as far as pacing, misdirection, etc. Action is very solid.

My Head Canon is that it is the sequel to "The Mexican".

That's the David Leitch style. Since he co-directed and created John Wick, he gets everything made and also some choice properties (Deadpool,F+F). One of the greatest commercial runs the industry has seen. Especially from a former stuntman.
I just worked with he and his team on "How to Rob a Bank" and I have to say --- one of the nicest, hardest working people in the business. Really solid collaborator.
Next up for him is Oceans 14 I believe and I look forward to seeing what he brings to franchise (and also am hopeful to join the project selfishly).

Great movie but don't feel the need to rewatch it.

It had an early Guy Richie feel to it.

Felt like it paid homage to several directors and movies. Incredible cast.

One of the most fun times I've had watching a movie in recent years.
It falls into my favorite genre of movie- the action of the plot takes place in a condensed time frame.
Bullet Train
Smokin Aces
1917
GO
Lucky Number Slevin
Falling Down
Training Day
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Phone Booth
The Hateful 8
The Usual Suspects
12 Angry Men
Birdman
The Warriors
Glengarry Glen Ross
Wet Hot American Summer

I didn’t realize I specifically liked this genre until reading this.
Also
Snatch
The Gentlemen
I think, anyway.
