WBRZ reporting 2 people injured in gunfire. This is ridiculous. The LA National Guard can post up on game days as far as I'm concerned. Didn't go tonight, obviously, but we'll dump our tickets quickly if this is the new normal.

This website is reporting 2 separate shootings. One around the Chimes and one on Daryleymple.
But don’t judge, stereotype, or jump to conclusions. You never know what type of challenges these young people are facing to make the resort to violence. Could be the stress of midterms.

It is VERY noticeable around campus and also during the game. The amount of trash walking around is gross. Had one girl walk up the aisle by our seats and her arse and nipples were fully hanging out. Getting clothes that fit is outta style i guess.

Are you referring to the shooting near the law center? Wasn't there a shooting there last home game?
Like I said last time, I know that.. this was before social media, but tailgating used to be a lot wilder than it is today and there was all kind of shite that went on that no one heard about. There were fights. It seems like today, if there is a fight it will end up on social media and people would be commenting about how bad society is, etc.
Add that on top of the fact where LSU is located and there was shite going on that no one heard about or that no one received a news notification about. When you have almost 200,000 people on campus drinking and partying. Some shite will go down. Then throw in the brothers that live all around. But yes all of a sudden you cant cross highland to get to the game.

It seems like game day the past few years has become increasingly ghetto. It’s a shame because it used to be one of the safest large gatherings you could find. It was really a remarkable thing. Hundreds of thousands of people having a good time for an entire day and very minor incidents. Now you have to worry about shootings. I agree with the other poster. Bring the national guard in on game days.
