Watched the whole Indiana vs Oregon game. First time I have seen Indiana , their QB looks legit. Anybody know if kid is really that good or just a big game today. Seems to have great pocket presence. Feels the rush , goes to secondary WRs when first options covered. Would like to hear what you think or my know about the kid.

There seem to be a lot of good prospects but nobody that is the slam dunk.

A lot of mocks have him on the top 5, even top 2.

I believe most have him as their #1 QB. I like him, but not sold on him as a top 5 pick yet. That pick 6 was pretty bad. This QB class as a whole has been disappointing, especially with it lining up with the Saints likely picking in the top 5 and needing a QB.

If they’re in the top 5, it needs to be Bain, Woods, Tyson, or trade down, IMO.

I don't think he's a mirage.

Solid arm and can make most throws but their offense is super RPO heavy and he struggles with accuracy beyond the first read.

We need a lot more things more so than a QB. Mahomes couldn’t win behind this line throwing to midgets all day. We need to get the best players instead of being the Browns who just take a new QB with a top 5 pick each year.

Yeah but if we have the pick and we love someone as a franchise guy I’d have 0 issue taking him and sitting him a year. Never know if you’ll be in position to get your guy again without having to give up a bunch of capitol. Lot of year left.

I don’t think a franchise QB isn’t in the draft this year.

I agree we do. I just don’t want to reach for a QB. Even if there was a franchise QB in the draft, he’d be bad on this team because he’d be surrounded by bad players.

Since there likely isn’t a franchise QB, don’t reach for one. Get a cornerstone player and find the QB elsewhere. Don’t draft Brady Quinn, Brandon Weeden, Johnny Football, etc., just because they are a QB.

Yeah, but if there isn’t a franchise QB in this draft, you don’t take one in the top 10 picks.

I agree, but you also can’t draft a guy just because he fills a position of need.

The Browns have taken 3 QBs in the top 5 since 1970.

None of those QBs were taken in the top 5 or anywhere near the top 5. Don't disagree with the premise of not taking a QB just to take one but these weren't highly rated players to begin with which is why they were taken in the 20s. If the Saints have a QB that they believe is a top 5 talent then they should take him, regardless of the other holes on the team, assuming we're picking in the top 5 because Rattler and Shough didn't show us enough.

Shouldn’t be a problem. We have major holes at corner, edge and receiver.

We not taking qb after burning #40 on a qb last draft. You have to give him at least to next year to see. It’ll be him and Rattler again next year.
