Too many elections. It’s pretty much who has the most friends at this point. Turnout will be shite.

A guy named Brenden Craig is the other guy running. I don’t know much about him because he does mainly criminal law. I know Calli though, and she would be a huge improvement over most of the Judges in EBR.

There are two judgeships in the running today. One has two Republicans in the race and the other has four Democrats running. Thats it. I guess the real question is who is the best of the Democrats?

I don’t know the best of the democrats, but I am confident that Vicky Jones is the worst of them. She doesn’t even live in this parish and should not have been on the ballot. The problem is that whoever did the election challenge to get her kicked off the ballot didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t bother introducing competent evidence. She ran for judge in ascension several years back and lost.

I know Brenden Craig and he would be a phenomenal city court judge. The majority of his practice has been focused on city court. There is a vast difference between district court and city court that most people don’t understand

Next big election will involve our property taxes. They are attempting to shuffle the deck.

The sim is to give The Library, COA, and MARC haircuts and use the savings to pay BR’s bills.

The haircuts are a good deal, but the citizens should get the savings not the general fund.
Someone needs to explain that one yo me.

That’s a little bit like being voted the best looking member of Motley Crue.

Yeah Vernon Thomas would definitely be the best district court judge. As far as city court, the BRPD union endorsed Brenden.

I hope the PB gets out and votes today rather than just complaining about things we can't control. This is something that will actually affect us.
