agentic AI

here's a decent analysis theres plenty more

i dont pretend to understand exactly what PATH does but evidently its positioned as cross platform and cross brand plumbing for practical/actual AI agent business activities. the usual hype applies here with regard to ChatGPT, etc.

rock solid year-long resistance at 15.xx. very small company relative to others, trades at an insane valuation already, revenues need to catch up quickly.

still very speculative. i own it at 14.45, for a while now. i dont remember why i chose it so that should tell you something . momentum seems to be up at the moment lets see what happens

It would be cool to invest in a company that did something besides mass surveillance or taking away the jobs from everyone under 30. Feel like these companies don’t even hide it anymore giving themselves names like “snowflake”

UI Path sells licenses to a Software Development Kit (SDK) that allows RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Architects to build bots for very specific, internal, and confidential company workflows.

When we think "AI is takin white collar jobs", this is one of the companies doing it

eta: but they also created a whole new field of RPA Architects, so, its not all doom and gloom

I feel like they aren’t any better considering they’re the food stamps lobby and make poison

At least the bomb companies aren’t killing people here

Reposting my post from other random AI thread

$PATH has partnered with almost every major AI player. They’re AI neutral, but running their business through all of them. Their business is the agentic AI that everyone wants - it reduces headcount in back office basic enterprise systems by automating. They seem to have the strongest AI automation tools, as they have very strong customer retention and growing well.

The theory I’ve seen is that their business model until recently wasn’t powered by AI, but did the same thing. It’s robotic process automation (RPA). But power it with AI and it becomes Agentic AI. It becomes capable of adapting instead of just doing the exact same process every time. Agentic AI is extremely in demand but difficult to create, which is why businesses are failing at it. Insert $PATH, which makes agentic AI much easier and more user friendly to create.

What adds a ton of credibility to UIpath is that OpenAI just released a competitor product - a tool kit to help end users build agentic AI. But it has a slightly different use case and requires you to use premium ChatGPT as your business’ AI model of choice, while UIPath can be used with ChatGPT and a majority of the other major AI now

. But that is also a risk because every enterprise that uses the OpenAI product won’t be a customer for UiPath. OpenAI has billions to spend on getting this out there. So we will see

Yep there’s def a long term risk, but they can’t corner the market instantly, and there will be plenty of market share for companies that don’t go with OpenAI long term as their AI model of choice

The technical analysis guys I follow are starting to get really into $PATH’s chart too. Hoping one pure TA guy with a big following decides to get into it

When all the different types of traders all go into a stock, it’s close to a big breakout

yes that has been the pattern, I’m certainly optimistic. The stock trades liberally so there’s that. Lots of attention

holding above 15 this morning but rejected multiple times at 15.50. most of the autists and their charts agree that 15.50 is the support needed.

I feel bad for the autists that have to look at charts all day when their true calling is starting fires telepathically

possibly interesting only to me...

been watching this thing closely yesterday and today, the bid/ask spread is almost never more than a penny, and volume continues to be ridiculous (25MM shares already today). there are 530MM shares to trade, 75% held by the pros. over 52MM shares held short
