Now that it is proven that he was framed will they do something for him. His number on the field or a helmet sticker with his number. A moment of silence. So far I have not seen anything at the previous games.

Realistically, not until the entire process is over I’m sure

not being a dick but what should be done? he wasn’t prosecuted, wrongly convicted, wrongfully imprisoned? what is he owed other than maybe an apology to his family?

As an alum and holder of multiple degrees from LSU I thought from the beginning of the season the team should have had helmet stickers memorializing Lacy.

Anything now will seem desperate.

Also, BK is a just not a fit for this university. His comment about Lacy today was dry and lacked empathy. Have you ever heard from his past players how much they love him? Nope. He just sucks balls.

All the sidewalk racist fans we have will downvote this.

Look I get the guy got a bad wrap initially but the way he let the situation play out was not good thinking.

Not sure LSU honoring the situation is the right way to go about it, unless you use it as a platform to educate student athletes and taking care of their mental health.

That’s a cop out.

He presumably knew he was innocent, so why not wait less than a year
For it to be proven?

He didn’t know the video was available. And he was mentally ill. Very sad all around.

He was obviously mentally ill…
Anyone that would be that selfish to kill themselves has to be.

How would he not know there was video etc? Wouldn’t his lawyer have told him this??

Body cam footage… car’s “black box “…

It started to snowball. That happens when a mentally ill person starts losing everything.

I’m not here to say anyone should feel one way or the other about the situation or mental illness. If you’re not a psychiatrist or don’t have it, you can never understand how it affects people. You can’t wrap your brain around the situation and understand it. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Just be happy you don’t have it.

Are you black and as a race have a history of being railroaded in the past. The kid thought as soon as the police named him his life was over. Some people don’t understand the psychology of it all.Theres a bunch of cold hearted MFs out there.

If LSU was going to honor him, they really should have had a #2 decal on the back of their helmets for the season. Also, his number on the field for the first home game along with recognition of a fallen teammate or former player from the announcer pregame or halftime of the first game. This would have been a nice touch for the family and fans of Lacy. Now it will look contrived and not genuine. No need to inject guilty, not guilty, wrongfully charged or any of this. LSU wasn't responsible for his actions or those of the police. All of that will work itself out in the courts. RIP young man, thank you for the memorable plays. Prayers for your family. Always a Tiger!

Losing his life frames the fact in such a way as to imply he had nothing to do with ending his life. Misleading at best.

Can you separate his personal life from LSU football?
Let the law play out
In terms of LSU football Lacy was too self centered on the field. Costly penalties for it.
LSU honoring him would make zero sense
Move on
